Collocata tra la valle del Trigno e la valle del Biferno, in un sistema alto-collinare a est del Matese e a sud della Maiella, presenta diversi siti rocciosi.
La falesia è spesso colpita da un vento forte ed incessante che nei secoli ha modellato le pareti creando buchi svasati e tasche verticali.

Located between the Trigno valley and the Biferno valley, in a high-hilly system east of the Matese and south of the Maiella.
It has several rocky sites consisting, for the most part, of groups of limestone boulders: the "grey and challenging limestone of Frosolone” with smooth slabs and flared holes but, from time to time, with some leaning walls or some sectors with plenty of grips. Its discovery dates back to the early 1980s.
The cliff is often hit by a strong and incessant wind that, over the centuries, has shaped the walls creating flared holes and vertical pockets. Continuous routes alternate, therefore of resistance, and boulder routes, the most common, where great arm strength is required.
